UT Southwestern Medical Center’s MyChart offers patients a secure gateway to portions of their electronic medical record. This convenient online tool is available around the clock. Support desk services are available from Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. – 9 p.m. MyChart connects patients to their health information with a secure, encrypted Internet connection.

MyChart allows patients to:

  • View laboratory test results.
  • View current medications prescribed by UT Southwestern physicians.
  • View a Health Issues list.
  • View past and future appointments.
  • Request an appointment or cancel an appointment.
  • Request prescription refills.
  • Send a message to clinical support staff in a clinical practice.
  • Access health education materials.
  • View immunizations.
  • View allergies.

Enrollment

Patients wishing to use MyChart should ask to be enrolled during their next visit to one of UT Southwestern’s outpatient clinical practices. Clinical staff can advise whether the clinical practice participates in the MyChart program and assist the patient with enrolling. The patient’s provider needs to discuss enrollment with the patient in order to release lab results via MyChart, and to respond to the patient’s prescription renewal requests.

To learn more about this program or access your account, visit MyChart.
