The Oncology Imaging Program at UT Southwestern Medical Center uses a variety of medical examinations to accurately diagnose and treat patient conditions. These examinations include:

  • Combined CT/PET scans
  • Computed tomography (CT) scans
  • Diagnostic mammography
  • Magnetic resonance (MR) spectroscopy
  • Positron emission tomography (PET) scans
  • Prostate ultrasound
  • Radiographs
  • Stereotactic targeting
  • Mammography
  • Nuclear medicine scans and uptakes, including radioactive iodine (I-131) whole body scans
  • SIR-Spheres for liver cancer
