Overview

The endocrinology and metabolism division at UT Southwestern encompasses all aspects of endocrinology. A variety of clinical and basic research efforts are directed by a diverse faculty whose expertise spans the spectrum of endocrine disease.

Areas of particular strength include steroid hormone biosynthesis and metabolism, endocrine development, and reproduction.

The Division of Endocrinology, Department of Internal Medicine, at UT Southwestern Medical Center is ranked #24 in the nation, according to U.S. News & World Report’s annual report, which also named UT Southwestern the top-ranked hospital in the Dallas-Fort Worth region for the second year in a row.
